Necessary Ingredients

  • 2 cups green peas (boiled)
  • 2 cups spinach (boiled)
  • 1 onion (finely chopped)
  • 4 cloves of garlic
  • 1 small piece ginger
  • 2 green chilies
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1 cardamom
  • 1 piece cinnamon
  • salt to taste
  • oil as required
  • water as needed

For Decoration

1 Tbsp Cream

Method

  1. First of all, make a paste of ginger, garlic and green chilies in a grinder jar.
  2. Make a puree by grinding green peas and spinach as well.
  3. Keep oil in a pan for heating on medium flame.
  4. Once the oil is hot, add cumin, cardamom, cinnamon and bay leaves and fry.
  5. Once the cumin seeds crackle, add onions and fry.
  6. As soon as the onions are fried, add ginger-garlic paste and fry.
  7. After this add the prepared puree of peas and spinach and cook for five minutes.
  8. Add more salt and water as required.
  9. Boil for 2-4 minutes and turn off the flame.
  10. Green peas broth is ready. Serve garnished with cream.
