Necessary Ingredients
- 2 cups green peas (boiled)
- 2 cups spinach (boiled)
- 1 onion (finely chopped)
- 4 cloves of garlic
- 1 small piece ginger
- 2 green chilies
- 1/2 tsp cumin
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 cardamom
- 1 piece cinnamon
- salt to taste
- oil as required
- water as needed
For Decoration
1 Tbsp Cream
Method
- First of all, make a paste of ginger, garlic and green chilies in a grinder jar.
- Make a puree by grinding green peas and spinach as well.
- Keep oil in a pan for heating on medium flame.
- Once the oil is hot, add cumin, cardamom, cinnamon and bay leaves and fry.
- Once the cumin seeds crackle, add onions and fry.
- As soon as the onions are fried, add ginger-garlic paste and fry.
- After this add the prepared puree of peas and spinach and cook for five minutes.
- Add more salt and water as required.
- Boil for 2-4 minutes and turn off the flame.
- Green peas broth is ready. Serve garnished with cream.
